First Annual Honey Island Elementary Arts Festival

So excited to be able to go to my oldest son's school for their first Arts Festival!  Every single child that attends the school had at least one piece of art hanging up.  It was awesome to be able to see how different and unique each piece of art was and what the children are being taught.  At the Art Festival was Canvas Painting, Origami station, music makers, face painting, paint station with marble painting, side walk chalk. People also had the opportunity to buy raffle tickets for different prizes.  Each classroom made a unique piece of artwork which each student in the class added a little piece of art too it and that was what they were raffling off.  There was also a table that had a place to sign up for art lessons for kids and adults, they also had where you could learn to draw a bear at the table and take it home.  This was awesome! My kids and I really enjoyed the festival!
